缺曠課時數（含事／病假）達授課總時數三分之一（12 小時）以上者，學期成績以零分計。
Student will receive a semester grade of zero for a course if absences from class exceed one third （12hrs）of total class hours.

Chinese Course Description

本課程討論文學作品與電影改編之間的關係。透過觀看文學作品(詩與小說)改編的電影，探討自我與他者、性別與階級、社會與政治議題、以及精神價值。為了激發學生的創作力，期末同學們必須自行選擇文學作品，改編拍攝成一部5-7分鐘的微電影。

English Course Description

This course aims at teaching students some basic skills in understanding and analyzing film. Another objective is for students to develop abilities to understand and discuss contemporary issues from a broader cultural and historical perspective. A third objective is to improve students’ listening, speaking and writing skills in English.

教學目標
Course Objectives

This course explores the interrelationship between film and literature. Selected poems, novels, and short stories are analyzed in relation to film versions of the same works in order to gain an understanding of the possibilities—and problems—involved in the literature-to-film adaptations. Each group of students is required to make a short film (5-7 minutes) based on a poem or a short story.

平時評量 30% ：分組學習單、上課表現、小考
期中評量 30% ：筆試(open book)
期末評量 30% ：分組微電影展演
其他評量 10% ：出席 (因缺席補考或補交作業，成績乘以80%，公假喪假住院病假不扣分)
