Student will receive a semester grade of zero for a course if absences from class exceed one third （12hrs）of total class hours.
中文課程概要
Chinese Course Description		 通識乃普通常識。生活地質學的教學目標就是在談與我們生活息息相關的一門科學，從地球的形成、生命的起源和滄海桑田的環境變遷，到各國都深表關切的全球暖化和台灣缺水的問題，在在都與我們的生活緊密相連。藉由本課程有系統的介紹，讓修習者可以用科學的角度來觀察我們周遭的環境，對生活周遭許多地質現象知其然並且知其所以然。本學科每堂課皆有上課講義，部分課程將配合影片教學，並視情況安排野外實查課程。
英文課程概要
English Course Description		 Living geology teaching goal is to talk about our living environment, which is a science, from the earth formation, the origin of life and the marshes of the environmental changes that countries are deeply concerned about global warming and the Taiwan problem of water shortage in the closely linked with our lives. With this course is a systematic introduction to the aspirant can use a scientific perspective to observe the environment around us, many geological phenomena around us and know these know why. Individually each class of the subject class handouts, some of the courses will be coordinated with video tutorials.
